It’s probably not much of a secret that we enjoy beer.  Heck, we’ve featured ways to transport a sixer on your bike, how you can wash yourself with soap made of beer and more bottle openers than you could even fit in your kitchen.  We’re not even 100% sure if this isn’t the first sign of having a problem.  Now, rarely do we go out and actually spend money on apps – we immediately look at the highest rated freebies - but in the case of BeerStat we’ll gladly shell out one hard-earned (debatable) dollar.   BeerStat basically keeps tabs on your tabs – How much you’ve spent, how many calories you’ve consumed, how much do you average on a day-to-day basis, etc.  Come on, you can spare one bartender tip for this wealth of information. $1

iPhone 4 White - Dropped today!

After about ten months of delay, Apple is finally releasing the White iPhone 4 ($200-$300). The specs are the same as the black iPhone that owners have been enjoying for almost a year now, including a 5MP rear camera, 720p video recording, A4 processor and a 960×640 Retina Display.

Apple Releases New MacBook Pro

Today, after much speculation, Apple releases its new line of MacBook Pro notebooks that include a 13-inch ($1,199 USD), 15-inch ($1,799 USD) and 17-inch model ($2,499 USD). Both the 15-inch and 17-inch notebooks are equipped with quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, while the 13-inch features a dual-core Intel Core i5 and a dual-core Intel Core i7 version. The incorporation of the all-new Thunderbolt technology enhances connectivity, allowing high-performance peripherals and high-resolution displays to be connected to a single port with a data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps. Also, a new wide screen format means FaceTime can now be used to make full-screen HD video calls that are brilliant and crisp.

Technology: Google brings speech to search iPhone application

Voice commands on the phone aren't quite new to us now,but searching Google using your voice from your phone is something really new to us. The best thing is that you can use it and it's here,but the bad part is it's only available for the Apple’s iPhone. This feature might reach the Android market soon, but there isn’t any quick chance for markets such as Symbian.



It's quite easy to use the application.The application can answer location related questions (Finding the nearest Starbucks), give driving directions, respond to generic questions, and even search local data from the address book.It will record your voice, upload it to a Google Server via the data connection, process the data, and then return the results. Now, you may think that this process will take a long time but actually, the reports state it’s actually very quick. While not very perfect at this point, the new Google feature will be improved and will become big soon for sure.
