It's the kind of filthy habit that Harry Potter wouldn't even contemplate.
But Daniel Radcliffe has been spotted puffing away on a homemade rolled-up cigarette.
The 21-year-old stood on a street corner in New York, wearing a black leather jacket and smoking away while listening to his iPod.
But the bottle of Vitamin Water tucked under his arm showed that Radcliffe does have some concern for his health.
Two years ago Radcliffe was forced to deny he had been smoking cannabis, after pictures emerged of him giggling and smoking a roll-up at a late night party.
His spokesman said at the time: 'Daniel does smoke the occasional roll-up cigarette, but he was not doing anything more than this.'

If one day I have a baby I'm not going to be able to work like I do now. I can be in London one day, Miami the next, New York after that, then back to L.A. I travel more than some pilots!"
